Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ¾ cup of water
  • ⅓ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot on Sauté on high, and when it’s hot, add the oil. When the oil is hot, add onions and garlic and stir.
  2. Add beef, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and water.
  3. Close the pressure cooker and set to 20 minutes on high pressure, Let it release pressure naturally for 10 minutes. Then, release any remaining pressure.
  4. Open the pot and turn it on to Sauté, slowly add sour cream and stir.
  5. Serve over egg noodles
